Yeh I guess the workload would be pretty high with the number of IAC's there can be for a single airport.

At least I can look at my flight logs afterwards, which is a very good aid for flight reviewing. I wouldn't have any interest in using Skydemon for practising instrument approaches (precision or non-precision).

Thanks for getting back to me.

It's a LOT of work, for a (relatively) small percentage of our customers, bearing in mind that VFR is our core market.

Just as important (if not more so) is that it's a lot more risky for us, as the notion of someone using a georeferenced instrument approach chart in the wrong way is quite a scary one, and that's not a conversation I would like to have with our insurers.

Yes I see the IAC's for Gloucestershire are georeferenced like rg said and seem to work fine.

Just wondered if there was a particular reason why you don't have any plans to introduce this, since it's been tested?

Thanks, Paul.

Thanks for that. Yeh I can add them from filtering, but I wondered if there were any plans to make them georeferenced like the Pooleys and AIP VFR plates. That would mean I could overlay them on the chart.

The reason I'm asking, is that it would be great to be able to look at my flight logs and see how accurate my hold and approach tracks are looking.

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi,

Just wondered if there are any plans to allow Instrument Approach Charts from the UK AIP to be georeferenced?
